Why is "contact access" needed and is my phonebook shared?

Your phonebook will NOT be publicly shared when granting Contacts Permission. Note, it's against Apple’s guidelines.

Without allowing Contacts Permission, you won't be able to use the following features:

    1. Save contacts directly from Truecaller
    2. See users Availability
